We start by doing a lot of research on Internet-Filter products.  We look to online community boards and other consumer blogs to find out what people think of the products in this category.  We also look through reviews and articles written by other experts.  Through this research, we find the top Child Protection product candidates.   AT this point, we take a closer look by testing and comparing those products when feasable.  Many times, our testing shows the online research we've conducted is accurate.  Other times, our testing may indicate a new or different Internet-Filter and Child Protection product deserves a higher ranking.  All of this is considered when we rank and review products in this site.
